Practical Meditations with Kirby de Lanerolle

THESE PRACTICAL MEDITATIONS WITH KIRBY DE LANEROLLE ARE DEVELOPED TO HELP YOU WITH A META-AWARENESS OF HOW ONE CAN CREATE A BETTER REALITY. INTENDED TO PRACTICALLY HELP THOSE ENDEAVOURING TO WITNESS, AND BE. THEY
CONTAIN AN APPROACH WHICH EMPHASISES AWARENESS OF THOUGHTS, RATHER THAN THE CLASSICAL METHODS OF NO-THOUGHTS. IT FOCUSES
ON EXPERIENCING THE VAST-MIND THAT UPHOLDS ALL THOUGHTS INSTEAD OF FIGHTING AWAY THE THINKING MIND: THE PERFECT MARRIAGE OF THE CHRIST-MIND WITH THE EGO-MIND, THE TWO BEING ONE.

My search for peace through a turbulent world led me to many streams of refreshing. I am an ardent seeker. Impassioned by deep calling out to deeper. Quenched but still thirsty. What one would receive from adventuring into this site, are beaten paths that have led me to still-waters. They are my soul’s cry to stop the world as I wanted to get off… in a simple nudge off the cliff; a deep immersion that has eternal ramifications.

Tohu Wa Bohu (Elijah Experiencing the Void)

Tohu Wa Bohu Meditation by Kirby de Lanerolle

Prophet Elijah experienced the void behind the stillness. The sound of silence. Consciousness beyond the conscience. You too can be a partaker of his experience. This will help you encounter the depth of spirit; one that is not confined or contained in the earth, water, wind, fire or expanse. Spirit that is void of all elementary controls and patterns of humans constructs. Experience the no-thing that creates all-things. The sound of silence that is the canvas of creation. The Tohu Wa-Bohu has been conceptualized by studying the desert fathers Hesychasm’s. It was known by Diadochos of Photiki, Gregory Palamas & St. John of Sinai as a ‘Ladder of Divine’ accent that goes beyond concepts, language & images into stillness and dispassion.

The desert fathers teach the realization of the energy of God as “light” and breathing the Divine names as praying without ceasing.

Concentration Exercise

Concentration Meditation Exercise | Kirby

These mediations are underpinned by the “will” or “active intention” The ability to maintain mental focus while navigating through the countless distractions arriving at you is a skill that needs to be mastered. Advancing in this exercise is mandatory to be able to enter the mystical realms. Your concentration can significantly improved by exercising and progressing in the cube visualisation. The first stage of visualising will consist of just the

lines of the cube. Once throughly experienced in detail and precision (over a period of time), the next stage consists of visualising the cube as a dice. Once you master the lines, then progress onto the dice (the sum of each opposite side being 7).
